I find that really stupid, but not as stupid as the movie (children’s flick, I know). My nieces liked it though, but as an adult (physically, at least) I thought it was really tedious, dull and paint-by-numbers.

Well, I wasn’t really depressed because I know that all things have to come to an end.

But I’m so happy to say she’s back! Woohoo!

Since I last posted I’ve probably been to Toronto twice and Ottawa once. The trips to Toronto were good. The trip to Ottawa was for the younger niece’s birthday, which was pretty awesome.

Other’n that, not much is new, I’m enjoying work and Belleville’s pretty good too. Mikey might go home for Thanksgiving so maybe I’ll see him.

This movie was about as interesting as an episode of Star Trek. Everything is solved by really smart people at the end, and the bad guys are ignorant jerks whose close-minded hatred do them in or whatever.

I was really disappointed.

That, and the popcorn cost me about 2x what the ticket price was just made me cranky.

The ‘adorable’ little munchkins, a.k.a. my nieces, a.k.a. Toast and Banana sent grandma and grandpa postcards….and me (once they got around to remembering me).

Now, actually let me give you a little background. My two little monsters like to tease their old uncle. For one thing, they call me ‘Grandpa’ – Toast once did it by mistake, but they keep doing it thinking they’re being cute. They once called me on my birthday and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me with their mom. But when they got to ‘Happy Birthday dear ______’ they substituted ‘Uncle Greg’ for ‘Grandpa’. They must have planned it because they both did it. They were laughing like little wild hyenas and my sister went into a laughing fit as well.

Cute.
