Late Night Notes…

June 11, 2008 2:15 am

The Chans have to see Indy 4 soon because I’m dying to write my review.

Oh yeah, and I’m really upset. The track lists I put for the Singstar games is wrong. I must have put the UK track lists.

‘Lovefool’ isn’t in either of the games I bought, it’s not in the Singstar POP package either.

I feel so sad :(

I have Singstar – be afraid.

June 10, 2008 2:18 pm

I picked up the Singstar 90’s bundle, and Singstar 80’s.

September 9th!!! Woohoo!!!

May 8, 2008 1:37 pm

Well, September 9th, or thereabouts at some point.

My justification for owning a PS2

Sudoku on Ubuntu

January 9, 2008 11:28 pm

Ubuntu Linux comes with a pretty jolly Sudoku game.

I’ve been playing it quite a bit, and I realized that I must be getting a lot better because as I was playing this last one I thought to myself, “Wow, I really have to up the difficulty, medium’s way too easy.” And when I finished the game it actually was set to the hard level.

New motherboard

November 30, 2007 6:30 pm

I got my new motherboard today. It’s an nForce 680iLT from XFX. I got it in a pretty good deal from TigerDirect, it came with 4GB of 1,333mhz RAM.

I’ve had a RADEON x1950PRO that it’s going to be coupled with for about a year now, and now I’m finally going to get to use it.

Still need a case and a CPU, I’ll probably grab a quad-core once the prices come down a bit. Oh, and a copy of Age of Empires III.

Final Fantasy XII

11:35 am

I just got Balthier and Fran to join my party, and we’re making our way out of the dungeons. Got killed last night against the energy-draining thingies.

Gonna go back for a few more rounds this weekend :D

Toronto put into Half-Life 2

November 23, 2007 12:56 pm

Got this off Digg.

Someone has made a mod of Toronto (City 7) for Half-Life 2. I’m going to have to get this once I get my new computer built.

Super Mario Galaxy

November 17, 2007 11:41 pm

I bought Super Mario Galaxy today. It would be nice to have a Wii to play it on, but that’s still at Purolator.

They close their branches at 1pm on Saturdays. What’s up with that?

[Cliff Claven reference, ftw]

Anyway, since I haven’t been able to play the game, I’ll say that the box-art (aside from the unfortunate star placement in the title) is good, and the game LOOKS like it’ll be a fun experience.

Peace out y’all.

EA Buys Bioware

October 11, 2007 2:35 pm

A bunch of videogame making doctors in Alberta should be happy now, the owners of Bioware have sold off the quality gaming house to Electronic Arts for up to $620 million.

Hope that’s Canadian, y’know, with the exchange and all.

Bioware made Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic and some other good stuff.
