Greatest. Game. Ever.

I’ve been accused at making contradictory statements in the past about what I hold to be the greatest videogame of all time.

I can rationalize that away by arguing that the problem is the definition of ‘videogame’ isn’t clearly defined.

Despite my use of the terms interchangeably there’s a difference between ‘videogames’ and ‘computer games’.

Therefore, Half-Life can be the greatest computer game of all time, and Yakuza can be the greatest videogame of all time and that’s that.

Here’s my list of favourite computer games:

1) Half-Life
2) Marathon 2
3) Myth

And videogames:

1) Yakuza

But something might change that:

Yes sir! ABBA is heading to the PS/2 in their own Singstar Game!

Here’s the tracklist:

Chiquitita
Dancing Queen
Does Your Mother Know
Fernando
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)
I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do
Knowing Me, Knowing You
Mamma Mia
Money, Money, Money
One of Us
Ring Ring
SOS
Summer Night City
Super Trouper
Take a Chance on Me
Thank You for the Music
The Name of the Game
The Winner Takes It All
Voulez-Vous
Waterloo

So yeah, pretty much the new Greatest Videogame Ever.

Period.

End of story.

I’m a little confused by the blue cats in the picture (might be explained by my lack of actual knowledge about ABBA), but I must admit I’ve broken into song with ABBA tunes many a time. They’re just so catchy and tuneful. ^___^
