Had dinner with an old friend, one of those friends that I’ve sadly ignored for a long time.

She’s doing great, having started a pretty cool job in the last while. We went out to China town and had a great meal.

I think China town food prices have gone up, I remember when Ming and Andrea and I went out to a restaurant there and the three of us ate for less than tonight’s bill.

Anyway, so after I helped my friend do some grocery shopping I went home.

THEN I NAPPED.

I hadn’t napped in a while it seems. But napping is great. I used to be a great napper, having napped a bit on most evenings and weekend days. Nowadays I get one contiguous (another word that I love using but I’m not sure what it means) sleep, but I don’t seem as well rested, and I’m less productive.

I think I’ll make the resolution to nap more.

Another thing, I want to write some arena rock tunes. I can’t emphasize that enough.

I want to write the kind of arena rock where the singer just shouts out city names to end the song. But I want to do that in the middle of the song. Maybe for the whole song. That’d be awesome.
